LÖSOMAT - Firmengebäude

The Company Schraubtechnik Peter Neef was founded in 1984 by Peter Neef.
The idea to start with was to further develop the standard torque multipliers into precise torque electric wrenches, in order to be able to fill the gap between hand-operated multipliers and hydraulic wrenches. The result was the introduction of the first precise torque electric wrench of up to 6000 Nm in the world.
This major market success gave the Company the impetus to work on innovative new developments in the future. Numerous patents and globally unique torque wrenches have been the consequence of these efforts.

Today LÖSOMAT – Schraubtechnik Neef GmbH is a high-tech centre for innovative product developments and individual solutions in the bolt technology sector. An in-house development department, a depth of production of well over 90% on the most modern machines, and an excellent level of service, are the guarantee for Made in Germany.

HRPU Modular

2007

LÖSOMAT presents a world innovation:

The LÖSOMAT battery operated high torque wrench up to 4000 Nm.

LÖSOMAT surpasses itself with a new planetary gearing generation, which is even lighter, even more robust and even more resistant.

LÖSOMAT presents Modular Hydraulic Units:

For the first time in modern power-pack technology, the modular
LÖSOMAT HRPU series now makes it possible to configure hydraulic
units individually to customer requirements. Each module is
capable of being added at a later time.

2006

Introduction of a QM system and certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 in just four months.
Expansion of the sales network in Germany and Europe. LÖSOMAT captured new markets in China and India.

LDH 12V 2003

2005

Management of the Company was transferred to qualified engineer (FH) Marc Gareis.
LÖSOMAT developed and patented the first automatic control in the world for hydraulic units without any sensors in the hydraulic wrench.

2003

LÖSOMAT developed the smallest hydraulic wrench in the world.

1998

A new production hall was built on the Company's site and the production of hydraulic wrenches was increased to more than 1000 pieces per annum.

LDE/LEW 1996

1997

The square drive wrench was completely revised from a technical point of view, and formed the foundation of particularly compact and light hydraulic square drive wrenches, up to 27.000 Nm.

1996

The LÖSOMAT hydraulic cassette wrench set new standards with respect to size and weight, up to 24.000 Nm.
The electric wrench shines in its new glory.

LDK 1996 1994

Further development of the already proven LÖSOMAT electric wrench into the LÖSOMAT steel construction wrench in a particularly robust version for HT bolts in steel construction from M 20 – M 36 in straight and angled wrench
versions.
Increase in efficiency of all planetary gearings by 25%.

LEW 1992

1992

The Company moved into a larger administration and production building, in Fuchsloch in Vaihingen/Enz.
Further development of the LÖSOMAT electric angled wrench LEW-60 L, a special version for Liebherr (crane technology).

1991

Modification of the LÖSOMAT electric wrench in the angled power gear shape for narrow bolt connections. The LÖSOMAT electric angled wrench opened new applications in bolt technology, especially in limited spaces.

LES 1990

LDE 1988

1990

The LÖSOMAT side power wrench sets new standards with its patented tandem gear pulley.

1988

Pioneering development and introduction to the market of the LÖSOMAT precise torque electric wrench, which reached 13.000 Nm for the first time. Patent granted for this world innovation. In the same year, the first LÖSOMAT precise torque pneumatic wrench, up to 13.000 Nm, with pressure and torque monitoring, was created. Its introduction was a complete success.

LDH 1985 1987

The Company started to produce its own mechanical torque multipliers.

1985

LÖSOMAT developed a square drive wrench with patented ratchet system. The first generation of LÖSOMAT hydraulic wrenches with square drive was born.

Konterschlüssel 1981 1984

The Company started to sell its own torque wrenches under the brand LÖSOMAT. The start of a success story.

1981

The first self-releasing counter wrench in the world to "counter hold" difficult bolt connections was introduced to the market and patented.

1975

The sale of hydraulic wrenches was added.

1972

Foundation of a sales agency for bolt technology by Peter Neef, at that time with mechanical torque multipliers.
